1 How can I get a loan? You can get a loan if:
a. You are an Zambia citizen, age 18 to 65 years old and have a valid NRC, Driver’s licence or Passport.
b. Your frequent mobile phone number should be active(Airtel/MTN/Zamtel number applicable).
c. You must have a smartphone, and go to google play store to download Nguzu Lending App.
2 What should I do if I do not receive Nguzu Verification code or OTP? Just be a little patient with the OTP due to network issues, normally the OTP will send to your phone number immediately after requesting.
If you still do not receive the messages, check your memory. If it is not enough, clear some space by deleting unnecessary text messages. Check your account balance and SMS service settings. After performing all these actions, request us, on the website, to resend an SMS. If you still do not receive the messages, write to customer@nguzulending.com indicating the problem, your mobile number and also specify the telephone carrier service.
3 Why is my loan application still pending in review? For the first loan customers, as we have so many new clients queuing for review, we promised to solve your application in the nearest time.
But normally for reloan clients, most clients can get their loan in less than 1mins.
4 What if I have been denied the loan? Do not worry , you can reapply after 7 days.
5 What documents do I need to present? NO paper document is required, u just need to upload your ID(NRC or Driver License or Passport) Picture and selfie with your ID.
6 How much can I borrow? We offer loans of between 200 ZMW up to 10,000 ZMW. T & C apply.
7 When can I apply? You can apply 24/7 anytime. You can apply Via our Nguzu Lending APP.
8 Is it difficult to get the loan? No, it is very easy to apply for a loan. You can get loan in 3 simple steps:
1. Sign up from APP.
2. Fill the application in the APP.
3. Receive mobile money within 5 minutes.
9 My loan application has been approved. When can I receive the money? The requested loan amount is disbursed immediately after the credit review process is completed at our end. Normally you should get the money in your mobile money account immediately. In case of delay please call our customer support.
10 Can I take a repeat loan? Do I have to upload documents again? You can take a repeat loan anytime once your existing loan is repaid. Simply open the Nguzu App and just confirm your loan amount, service fees, interest and period Your loan amount will be credited into your account instantly. There is no need to upload any document as your data is already stored with us.
11 Will the limit of my subsequent loans be increased? Nguzu automatically increases the loan limit immediately after the timely repayment of a previous loan.
12 How can I find out if my application has been approved? Log in Nguzu APP with your mobile number and check my loan histrory.
13 I have entered incorrect mobile money. What can I do now? If you enter an incorrect mobile money number, you will not receive otp when registration. So you must use your own phone number.
14 Can I pay the loan before my due date? Yes. you can make a payment anytime before your due date. The interest and service is charged for the terms of days you have the loan.
15 I have made the payment but my account is still showing outstanding, the payment is not reflected? 1 How will I make a payment? We have made the entire payment experience as user friendly as possible. There are 2 ways you can repay the Loan: Log in to App, click on repay you will receive PIN prompt on the registered number, then you can input your Mobile Wallet PIN to finish the process. 2 Can I make a payment in cash? We do not accept payments in Cash now. If for any reason your online transfers are not successful, Please call our support numbers for more details.
3 What if I am not able to make payments on the due date? At Nguzu , we understand that sometimes due to ever changing dynamics , you might be in a situation where you are unable to make a payment on the due date. You can make an extension by paying a small amount of extension fee. you will have to contact our customer care numbers to help you get through to your loan officer.

5 Can I make a part payment? Yes you can make a part payment of your loan. Please log in to your Nguzu APP and click on ‘Part Payment ‘The system will trigger you to make a partial payment. 6 How fast can I get Next loan ? Once you close your existing loan, your Next loan is just a click away. All you have to do is log in to your cabinet and Click on New loan and reconfirm mobile money details. That’s it, the credit will happen instantly.
